Armenian Model Of Technology Education To Be Implemented In Ethiopia


WICT Congress Participants visit Armenia DigiTec Expo

(Armradio)- High-Tech Ministers and heads of delegation from a number of countries participating in WICT Congress in Armenia visited DigiTec Expo, the largest technological exhibition of the region.

The guests were welcomed by Karen Vardanyan, Executive Director of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE). He briefed the guests on the history of creation of the exhibition and its achievements.

He noted that the number of visitors has grown from 4,000 to over 100,000 ever since the establishment of the exhibition in 2004.

Accompanied by Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gegham Vardanyan, the Ministers and heads off delegation toured the pavilions, familiarized themselves with the production of Armenian tech firms.

A memorandum was signed between Ethiopia and Armath Engineering Laboratories, under which the latter will introduce 51 Armath labs in Ethiopian schools.

The Afghan Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies also expressed the intention to cooperate with Armath, which led to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.

The guests said what’s happening in Armenia today is impressing.
