Five scholarships for Armenian students across Ontario worth checking out


Armenian university students across Ontario: Did you know that the Armenian Relief Society (ARS) Toronto Roubina chapter offers scholarships that you can apply for today?

ARS Toronto recently announced its 2022-2023 scholarships, open for undergraduate and graduate students studying or planning on studying at universities in Ontario.

The 2022-2023 scholarships include the following:

– A scholarship for first-year university students

– A scholarship for graduate students (Master’s and PhD students)

– The Tro Najarian Scholarship for university students (undergraduate and graduate students)

– The Kevork and Armenouhi Kololian Scholarship for students pursuing a career in teaching

– The Nerses Mksyartinian Scholarship for university students studying business and commerce

The deadline to apply for scholarships is Nov. 30, 2022. Applications can be submitted through this form.

Originally founded in 1924 (re-established in 1963), the ARS Toronto Roubina chapter’s mission is to promote education, provide social services, and empower women. The chapter has established many awards and scholarships for Armenian students with high academic achievement at the elementary, high school, university, graduate, and postgraduate levels. The chapter also runs a social services office to meet the needs of the growing Toronto Armenian community.
