Idaho recognizes Artsakh independence


The U.S. state of Idaho has recognized the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and proclaimed April 24, 2021 a Day of Remembrance of the Armenian Genocide, the Armenian National Committee of America reports.

The proclamation was signed by Brad Little, Governor of Idaho.

California, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Rhode Island and Colorado too have passed bills recognizing the independence of Karabakh.
