Armenia’s Rosa Linn to perform in Toronto this June


Rosa Linn, Armenia’s representative at Eurovision Song Contest 2022, will perform in Toronto on June 17 and 18. The musician revealed the news of her headline tour and the dates she will be accompanying Ed Sheeran on his +–=÷x Tour on Twitter.

“From writing songs in my bedroom to competing on Eurovision, it has been an incredible journey so far…And now, I’m beyond excited to share the next chapter with you all!!!! I’m thrilled to announce that I am going my first ever headline tour!” Rosa Linn said in a Twitter post.

Linn will be opening for Ed Sheeran on five shows of his +–=÷x Tour, including two shows in Toronto. Her own headline American Daydream Tour will include stops in Montreal, New York, Philadelphia, Columbus, and St. Paul. The pre-sale for her headline tour starts on March 29 at 10 a.m. EST (password: “stoptheblockade”).

Born in Vanadzor, Northern Armenia, Rosa Linn (Kosdanyan) participated in the Armenian national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 and spent a year in the United States as an exchange student in 2018. Linn’s professional career began after signing with US-based record label Nvak Collective. Her debut single, “King,” featuring American singer Kiiara, was released in Sept. 2021.

Her Eurovision entry, “Snap,” was released in March 2022 and went viral on TikTok following the contest, reaching the top of the charts in several countries. Linn signed with Columbia Records in Aug. 2022 and released a new music video for “Snap” in October, as well as a collaborative single with Dutch singer Duncan Laurence.
