The Holy Trinity Armenian Church’s Sunday School End of the year Concert took place on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at “Magaros Artinian” Hall. To show their support to our students at this event were present Vicar of the Armenian Church Diocese of Canada and Parish Pastor Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zagrarian, the previous Principal of Sunday School Mrs. Seta Kandaharian, the Principal of St. Sahag & St. Mesrop Saturday School Dr. Arpi Panossian-Muttart, Chair of ‘Tekeyan Cultural Association’ Mr. Kevork Tutundjian donors, supporters and parents.
This year’s theme was “Praising our Lord and thankfulness”. The students presented prayers, psalms and readings from the Bible, as well as musical presentations. Fr. Zareh Zargarian and the Principal of Sunday School Mrs. Sossi Barounian presented certificates to the graduates Elizabeth Kandaharian and Ani Kerametlian. Thanks to our donors the students and volunteers received awards and recognitions as well.
Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian delivered a heartfelt speech appreciating the devoted work of Sunday School’s Principal, teachers, volunteers and parents for providing the children with the Christian education in a loving and caring environment.
The event concluded with Fr. Zareh’s prayer and a small reception organized by parents and teachers. The Sunday School classes will resume on Sunday, September 17, 2017 on the Feast day of Holy Cross.
