AGBU Toronto new headquarter

AGBU Toronto announced it will be moving into its new headquarters at 1 Concorde Gate  in Toronto by the end of the year.

Centrally located in midtown Toronto off the DVP, this professional building, states AGBU announcement, is conveniently accessible to its growing membership and the broader community, is equipped with modern technology, as well as other amenities.

“AGBU Toronto’s new centralized location will have a positive impact on our community and provide a fresh start for our Chapter,” said Berge Papazian, President of Armen-Ontario. “This more centralized location will make it even more convenient for us to meet the needs and interests of our community. It reflects our understanding that as the needs of our community change, our means of addressing them must adapt, as well.”

“With this move, we can now continue focusing on creating programs to add value to the Toronto Armenian community and create new areas of opportunities while maintaining our core initiatives and global vision,” added AGBU Toronto co-chairs Mihran Egavian and Aida Knadjian. “Even as we maintain and strengthen our existing programs, we are especially interested in developing new programs that meet the needs of the new generation of youth and young professionals.”

The office space is being reconfigured to have an open floor plan and will include private offices, a boardroom and space for presentations, cultural and social events. In developing the construction plan, a special focus was placed on the needs of Toronto AGBU’s growing Young Professionals group, as well as all the other committees of AGBU Toronto. In addition, there will be ample on-site parking to ensure the center can facilitate larger community-wide events.
