An unacceptable decision cannot be made on Nagorno-Karabakh – Armenia’s PM

Armenia’s Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, held a press conference on Friday, January 13, to review his activities over the past four months.  Among the many issues, he addressed the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.

When asked if he supports the “status for territories” option, Mr Karapetyan replied, “You have actually answered this question. I am sure that we have an option to protect our self-respect and victory during relevant negotiations. It depends on what mutual concessions are in question. It is not only territory or status. I do not think the decision-maker could make a decision [which is] unacceptable to Armenia’s citizens. It is such a great responsibility that I do not see anyone that could [take] such a step. So I do not think we [should] be concerned.”
